Challenge
Most planners are lists, and long-term goals get lost among daily tasks. ERA tests a spatial interaction model instead: the current goal sits at the centre of the screen, with its sub-goals, tasks and the people involved arranged in quadrants around it. Users zoom into a sub-goal to make it the new focus and reorganise everything by dragging. The MVP had to feel smooth enough to validate the concept.
Solution
I built the whole MVP alone. The Nuxt 3 frontend uses a custom four-quadrant layout with glass-style panels, Pinia stores with persisted state and vuedraggable: dropping a goal on the centre makes it the focus, dropping goals or tasks on the side zones archives them, and selecting a task and then a contact assigns it. The Laravel API provides JWT auth with email, Google and Facebook sign-in, plus goals, tasks and contacts with soft deletes and restore. It runs on Kubernetes, with the frontend on Cloudflare Workers.
