Requirements:
Work Orders in NetSuite can only be set up for a single product or Assembly Item. The client needed a way to create and execute Work Orders in batches per Product Line.
The client employs subcontractor locations for some assemblies. For each production batch, Purchase Orders need to be created per Vendor involved.
Results:
A custom "Docket" application was designed and developed to accommodate Product Line-level management of Work Orders.
High-Level Flow: Open custom record > select Product Line > click 'Create Batch' > Work Orders are created > Work Order components issue and completion are done from the same screen
2. Purchase Order automation is done on the same "Docket" application for each Vendor involved with production.
