Project Overview

All Things Digital is a Facebook community created by Ivy, founder of Reach Digital Solutions, built for freelancers and aspiring digital professionals. It serves as a hub for insights, job opportunities, and discussions on social media, freelancing, and digital marketing, while fostering a supportive community.

My Role:

For this project, I still worked closely with Ivy to increase our group's digital presence and make it even more engaging. I took the lead in planning collaborative content, posting regularly, and connecting with our community, all through Ivy’s personal Facebook profile to keep things authentic.
My main goal was to keep our community worthwhile and engaging.
Here’s what I did:
Created and shared content that aligned with our overall strategy.
Posted and encouraged members with relevant job opportunities.
Started weekly discussion threads and polls to get everyone to interact and connect.
Recognize our active members to celebrate their contributions and encourage participation.
Organized fun challenges and activities to keep things interesting.
Hosted live sessions and discussions with known freelancers in the industry.
Engaged with members through comments, posts, and conversations.

Analytics & Results

Through strategic collaborations and effective community management, I successfully scaled the group to over ⬆️1.5k members by the end of this project. I accelerated growth by targeting exposure, partnering with well-known freelancers in the industry, and creating content outside the group to attract new, relevant members interested in freelancing and digital work.
Once members joined the community, my focus shifted to maintaining strong engagement and retention. As a result, the group experienced a significant increase in activity, with content generating hundreds of posts, comments, and over ⬆️1.2k reactions within a month. Active member participation steadily improved, driven by intentional strategies such as weekly threads, creative challenges, and member recognition.
