Clave is a specialty coffee brand born from a deep-rooted family passion for two arts: coffee and music. More than a beverage, Clave invites us to pause — to slow down the rhythm of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves, one cup at a time.
The brand emerged from a desire to transform coffee into a moment of presence. Rooted in tradition, yet shaped by intention, Clave proposes a sensory experience, where sound and silence coexist, and where design communicates without excess. The identity pays tribute to time — not the clock time, but the internal rhythm that exists between the notes.
From its logotype, built around visual pauses and musical analogies, to its illustration system and packaging, every element is designed to breathe, to create space, and to evoke emotion. The horizontal bars in the logo echo piano keys, a nod to the sound that fades and the silence that follows. Even the break between the brand's syllables becomes a moment to breathe.
The use of lowercase typography adds a human tone: soft, close, and intentional.
Color, typography and visual structure all reflect the duality behind Clave: artistic yet grounded, minimal yet expressive. This is a brand shaped by rhythm, silence, detail and by the desire to turn ordinary gestures into extraordinary rituals.
