Optum Forum is a fun B2B event that typically brings thousands of health leaders together each year for powerful conversations. COVID-19 lockdowns forced the forum to go virtual in 2020, which delivered a huge blow to the event's attendance.

To avoid losing momentum or engagement in a newly-virtual event, I wrote a kickoff email to encourage early registrations for Forum '21. This email drove more registrations than any other year, leading to a 30% increase in online attendees from the previous year.

I also wrote UX copy for the event website's various landing pages to highlight the potential to build connections and learn from peers or industry leaders at Optum Forum.
