The pumpkin spice latte, the cold sweater weather and the Gilmore Girls on repeat. You guessed it, it's the fall season coming with full speed. Putting aside our summer dresses, and with a nostalgic feeling, you may have a motivation boost to reset your lifestyle and build a routine. But how do you do that?
First of all, there's no right or wrong when it comes to building a morning routine. You have to find the habits that are right for you and your lifestyle.

Want to get up early? Prepare your space

Pressing the snooze button is a problem as old as time. Believe me, the feeling you get in the morning, feeling the fresh air and seeing the morning sun, it's incomparable. It's hard, at first, to have energy when you wake up early but you know what they say, nothing great comes easy. The first thing you want to do is putting your phone further away from your bed. That way, you will need to physically get up to turn off your alarm.

Grab a cup of coffee and write down something

As you know, journaling has gained a great recognition over the last years, but it's not for everyone. I won't tell you need journal, what you do need is to write something down. You can write your plans for the day, you can journal, write your affirmations, or you can just write your thoughts. This will help you clear your mind and get focused on your goals for the day.

Move a little

Either you have a workout routine planned or you can't start your day without a 10 minute yoga session, you need a little movement to start the day right. There are a lot of videos on Youtube, just explore and see what feels good for your body and your soul. You can workout, do yoga, dance or just take a short walk.

Don't skip breakfast!

Trust me on this, making your breakfast it's also a way of selfcare. Making the time of cooking and enjoying your meal will give you a feeling of accomplishment.
Now, as I said, there is not a magic recipe and you can always build it differently. Keep in mind, being consistent with your habits is hard. It's just a small step to the life you want. With little steps you can reach a great destination.
