Oak Love

A.K. Paige

Under the oak tree's ancient shade,
Where whispers of the wind cascade,
Two hearts met in tender light,
Love bloomed beneath the branches bright.
Leaves whispered secrets soft and low,
As their love began to grow,
Roots intertwined, strong and true,
Underneath the sky so blue.
Hand in hand, they found their way,
In the oak tree's gentle sway,
A love as deep as roots entwine,
Beneath that oak tree, yours and mine.
