Minimal concept-driven Rive animation for CBRE symposium

Recently, I created this animation for the symposium of CBRE real estate company, and it turned out to be a truly special experience for me.

Those who are familiar with my animations and characters will definitely notice that this style is almost the opposite of what I usually do. The bright, clean colours are replaced by monochrome tones. Oversized cute eyes and expressive characters give way to bold geometric forms. Minimal. Restrained. Concept-driven. There are moments when my long-term clients invite me into exciting new challenges with the opportunity to step beyond my signature aesthetic and experiment with styles that are completely different from what I usually create. One of the people who consistently inspires me to do that is Chris Decoufle. I’m genuinely grateful to him for believing in me: not only in what I already do well, but in my ability to adapt, experiment, and create in styles that are unfamiliar territory. Being trusted with that kind of creative stretch is both exciting and empowering. I’m incredibly happy I had the opportunity to work on this project and even happier with how it turned out. I truly hope the symposium participants enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
