Mandarin Cup — Webflow event site in two days

Project description

The situation. A padel tournament in Batumi with a fixed date. Promotion had to start immediately — two days from brief to live site.

The decision. I didn't design from scratch, and that was the point. In 48 hours a custom design ships either late or thin. So I picked a Webflow template for its structure rather than its looks — one whose section logic already matched the real content: locations, timeline, registration — and rebranded it.

What I did. Restructured the template's sections around the tournament's actual agenda, instead of bending the content to fit the template. Applied the tournament's branding throughout. Loaded all content: schedule, locations, timeline. Integrated the registration form. Cleaned up mobile, where customized templates break first and where most of this audience opens the link.

Result. Live on mandarincup.com on schedule. Registration opened alongside the promotion campaign — which was the whole reason the deadline was two days.
