Custom AOL Chromium Browser Development

This one was a big project. Built fully on top of Chromium, but turned into something that feels... different. Faster, cleaner, and way more professional.

The main goal here was to create an enterprise-ready browser experience. Everything from UI polish to security logic had to feel seamless. I worked on customizing core browser components, tweaking visuals, and shaping the interface into something that actually feels premium.

It wasn’t just about visuals though. The performance and stability mattered most. I optimized the builds, tuned memory usage, and refined startup performance so it runs smooth even on heavier systems. The final product included a light and dark theme split, a refined toolbar, and subtle branding that makes it stand out without being loud.

Every detail mattered. Tiny button spacing, hover animations, icon clarity — all those little things that make a product feel complete.

This project reflects what I really enjoy doing: taking a powerful open-source base like Chromium, and turning it into a clean, modern product that aligns with real-world brand needs.
