Project Overview

SJS Leo Artisan & Iron is a fully custom WordPress website built from a blank foundation without using pre-built templates or page builder themes. The objective was to create a clean, structured, restaurant-style digital experience with full design control and optimized performance.

The Challenge

Most WordPress builds rely heavily on commercial themes and visual builders. While convenient, these often introduce unnecessary code bloat, design limitations, and long-term maintenance issues. The goal for this project was to eliminate template dependency and build a fully controlled architecture from the ground up.

The Approach

I developed the site starting from a blank WordPress installation and custom-coded the layout structure to meet specific performance and design standards. Every section was intentionally structured to maintain:
Clean layout hierarchy
Consistent typography and spacing
Lightweight code output
Structured navigation flow
Responsive behavior across devices
By avoiding pre-packaged templates, I retained full control over styling, structural markup, and optimization.
