Project Summary
I was hired to provide quality assurance testing services on their website after they completed a redesign. The company requested the following services:
- Back-end data validation
- Front-end data validation
- General QA and bug-finding
Services Rendered
After thoroughly assessing the project, I tested their website against five platforms and delivered the following:
- Test Plan: their test plan included an objective summary of the expected tests, a detailed platform list of the devices their tests would be conducted on, milestones including dates and expected deliverables, success metrics, and a list of potential risks to their project, labeled and organized by priority.
- Complete test cycle: first pass
- Front-end bug list
- Back-end bug list
- Recommendations regarding UI, UX, functionality, and security-related concerns
- Note: all bugs and recommendations included annotated screenshots and videos
- Two days of additional root-cause analysis assistance while bugs were actively addressed by their development team
- Regression test cycle
- Complete test cycle: second pass
- Zip file including all documents, reports, and media.
