Landscape Design - Oviatt Family

The Oviatt family constructed a new home in Draper, UT and were looking for ideas for their backyard. Hardscaping and entertainment were main design concepts. There were a few elements they had requested, including; a rectangular pool, an above ground hot-tub, a fire-pit, an outdoor kitchen/seating area, and a shed for storage. They also requested little to no vegetation or softscapes to reduce opportunity of encountering snakes.

The backyard space was limited by the neighboring fences, so the pergola over the outdoor kitchen was connected to the shed for space conservation.

The fire pit and hot tub were placed to allow viewing of the pool while being nearer to the outdoor kitchen and back entrance to the house.
