Kuberly is a B2B SaaS that automates AWS and Kubernetes for teams without dedicated DevOps. Teams stalled at the very start: connecting AWS and achieving the first deploy required too much context, jargon, and manual steps across disparate tools (AWS Console, Terraform scripts, back-and-forth chats). Business stakeholders lacked visibility into costs and environment health, slowing decisions. Developers needed a better balance between “automated by default” and “under my control”: a fast default path with safe ways to intervene. Access and security added friction—roles and policies were opaque, risking both compliance and day-to-day productivity. The result was slow time-to-value, high cognitive load, and a fragmented experience we set out to turn into a more human interface with guardrails, an out-of-the-box first successful deploy, and clear cloud economics. We set out to replace fragmented DevOps routines with a human, guided path and clear cloud economics.

The Outcome Kuberly shortened time-to-value from 14 to 5 days. Clients cut AWS spend by ~38% via our reseller model; we cover 73% of usage at a 38% discount and capture a 19% margin, while the platform itself remains free with DevOps support included. Commercially, we add 6–8 new customers per month with an average AWS bill of about $4.3k per client.

From Org to Env: A Guided Onboarding Path Onboarding follows the same mental model as the product structure. You start at the Organization and land on Projects, where a single primary action opens a focused “Create Project” flow. The form uses human-readable defaults and units (mCPU, Mi/Gi) with inline hints, quota previews, and validation that prevents over-provisioning. After creation, an inline success nudges the next step – adding the first Environment – so the user moves forward without hunting for the right screen.

One Pane for Health & Spend at Every Level Each level exposes the signals that matter for that scope. At Org level you see the size and health of the estate-projects, environments, groups, users-alongside spend, remaining credits, and payment history; risky projects surface through consistent status chips and first-seen timestamps. The Project view pivots to portfolio management of environments: monthly spend stacked by env, a clear cost table, and a quick way to drill down. Inside an Environment, engineers focus on operations – CPU, memory and total cost gauges, logs, monitoring, alerts – kept in one place so investigation doesn’t bounce between consoles.

Automation with Safe Overrides Automation is the default, control is available when needed. Guardrails explain what the system is doing—creating roles, wiring networks, provisioning clusters—while progressive disclosure keeps advanced settings out of the way until they are required. Status language and colors are unified across levels, secrets and access follow least-privilege by default, and copy favors clarity over jargon. The net effect is confidence: a first successful deploy out of the box, faster iteration afterwards, and no fear of breaking production through hidden settings.
