Lo-Fi Memoir
This song started with a quarter-life crisis and a lot of growing pain. It mixes confusing emotions with pointless advice and thematic sound atmosphere. I wrote, sang, and played the main instruments. Oh, I also edited and mixed it. For the supporting sounds, everything was sampled by me with a couple of hands from my inner circle, who either held the mic, or succumbed to my begging and stood in front of it. Some of those samples include a toy xylophone, a coffee grinder (played by Jonas), a wine glass (played by Sebastian), and sparklers, adding texture and a cinematic feel, and accentuating the storytelling. Beyond the track, I crafted other creative visual assets that extend the song’s concept, showing how I like to connect and support ideas across different media.
