A slow, atmospheric work-in-progress from my solo project vonPfefferspray. Aurora is a song and also a scene, and it is built around voice and a lo-fi guitar, with ambient piano grounding things sporadically. I wrote Aurora to represent introspection and stillness in the face of wonder, and to talk about how simple wonderful things can be (and vice-versa). It mixes cinematic texture with the rawness and intimacy of singer-songwriter traditions.
