Overview

In today’s digital banking space, homepages must serve as both an entry point and a trust builder. This project reimagines UBA’s homepage to explore how a modern, streamlined design could improve accessibility and customer engagement.

Goals

To reimagine the UBA mobile app with a clean, user-centered design that improves ease of use, builds trust, and enhances customer engagement with essential banking services.

Challenges

While redesigning, I faced challenges such as simplifying complex banking features into intuitive user flows, balancing modern visuals with a professional brand image, maintaining consistency across multiple screens, and ensuring the redesign stayed fresh without losing UBA’s identity.

Solution

I redesigned the homepage with a cleaner layout, clearer hierarchy, and focused content structure, making it easier for users to navigate and engage with key banking services. Through this project, I learned the importance of balancing creativity with functionality, how crucial a clear information hierarchy is in financial products, and the value of keeping the user’s trust and ease of use at the center of every design decision.
