Website Development and Illustration for make87

make87 faced a common but difficult challenge: how to communicate highly technical services in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.

The make87 project presented a dual challenge. The primary creative task was to design a series of illustrations that could translate complex technical concepts into simple, easily understandable visuals.

On the technical side, the project required a development platform that was fast, reliable, and easy to maintain.

Webflow was selected to meet these needs, ensuring a rapid build, excellent uptime, and the flexibility for straightforward future updates.

On this project, my responsibilities were focused on two key areas:

Illustration: I contributed to the visual design by creating a set of illustrations that made complex technical ideas easy to understand.

Webflow Development: I handled the complete development of the website, building it from the ground up to be fast, reliable, and easy to maintain.

My approach was tailored to address both the creative and technical needs of the project, ensuring the final product was both visually compelling and accessible.

Working from the information provided by stakeholders, I designed a set of custom illustrations. Each visual was intentionally crafted to distill complex technical topics into clear, engaging graphics. The goal was to create a strong visual language that would instantly connect with the headings and descriptions, making the content more digestible and memorable for the user.

In developing the site with Webflow, my focus went beyond just the initial build. I prioritized long-term performance and maintainability. The site was structured to be easily updated by the client in the future. I also implemented performance optimization best practices to ensure fast load times and built the site to be fully optimized for modern search engines.
