Overview: Custom Framer Website Design for Linktree
Linktree is a globally recognized platform that helps creators, businesses, and brands connect audiences to their digital presence through one simple link. Framer commissioned me to design and develop a custom website for Linktree, showcasing how a familiar and functional product can be reimagined with modern UX/UI design and Framer’s interactive capabilities.
The goal was to create a sleek, conversion-driven website that reflects Linktree’s simplicity and versatility while demonstrating the power of Framer website development for large-scale, consumer-focused brands.
Challenge: Designing an Interactive, Scalable Experience in Framer
The challenge was to translate Linktree’s minimalist product philosophy into a visually rich yet intuitive website. The new site needed to capture the brand’s vibrant identity while remaining fast, functional, and modular enough for marketing teams to scale easily.
Key objectives included:
Building a Framer website that mirrors Linktree’s clean and flexible brand system.
Showcasing multiple use cases and product tiers through interactive design and visual storytelling.
Maintaining a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and responsiveness across devices.
Demonstrating how Framer can support enterprise-level websites without compromising design integrity.
Process: From Brand Exploration to Live Framer Build
1. Discovery & Brand Analysis
I started by exploring Linktree’s design language, tone, and core user experience. Together with the Framer team, we defined how to represent Linktree’s product story through motion, structure, and content hierarchy — emphasizing clarity, simplicity, and visual flow.
2. UX Architecture
The next phase involved designing a clear user journey and modular layout structure. The focus was on hierarchy and usability, allowing visitors to quickly understand what Linktree does, who it serves, and how to get started — all while keeping interaction light and meaningful.
3. UI Design in Figma
I designed a modern UI system using Linktree’s brand palette, typography, and illustration style. Each component was optimized for scalability and consistent visual rhythm. Emphasis was placed on gradients, whitespace, and animation timing to evoke energy and clarity.
4. Framer Website Development
The full site was built directly in Framer, using component-based development principles.
Key steps included:
Structuring reusable content sections for marketing and campaign flexibility.
Implementing micro-interactions and scroll-based animations to bring the UI to life.
Applying responsive design best practices for all breakpoints.
Optimizing performance through lightweight assets and reduced motion where needed.
5. QA, Performance, and Handoff
After development, I conducted a complete QA process to ensure performance, accessibility, and pixel-perfect visuals. A structured handoff followed, allowing Framer and Linktree teams to easily update and expand the site post-launch.
Results: A Modern and Dynamic Framer Website for Linktree
The final website delivers a dynamic, high-performance experience that captures Linktree’s brand essence — simple, creative, and instantly usable.
It serves as a showcase for Framer’s ability to power large-scale, interactive websites, combining animation, modular structure, and user-centric design.
The project reinforced how custom Framer development can meet enterprise demands for design flexibility, performance, and scalability while preserving brand authenticity.
