A responsive cinematic portfolio website designed and built for audiovisual professional Julia Kosar, focused on presenting her projects, professional background, and creative identity in a more polished and structured way.
The Challenge
Julia needed a clearer way to present her audiovisual work online without losing the personality and visual character of the projects. The portfolio had to organize different types of work, roles, professional information, and featured projects while still feeling cinematic rather than corporate.
Design Direction
I created a dark, editorial, cinematic visual system with strong typography, large imagery, controlled motion, and a clear hierarchy. The goal was to give each project room to stand out while keeping the overall experience consistent.
What I Built
• Responsive portfolio website
• Featured project sections
• Professional information and biography
• Career timeline
• Audiovisual work presentation
• Mobile-friendly responsive layouts
• Cinematic visual direction
• Clear navigation and content hierarchy
UX Approach
The structure was designed to make Julia’s work easy to browse while keeping the visual presentation central. I separated featured work, background information, and career context so visitors could quickly understand both the projects and her professional profile.
My Role
Web design, UI direction, responsive layout, front-end implementation, and overall project presentation.
Outcome
The result is a more organized and professional portfolio that gives Julia a dedicated space to present her audiovisual work, career, and creative identity in a cohesive cinematic format.
