Social Media Visual Design for Rokplace Digital

Rokplace Digital is a design agency that needed its own social presence to match the quality of work it delivers to clients. The challenge was familiar but tricky: design agencies are often so focused on client work that their own brand feels like an afterthought. Rokplace wanted to change that.

The Brief

Rokplace needed a social media visual system that could:
Communicate a premium, design-forward identity across Instagram posts and reels
Stay consistent across dozens of posts without feeling repetitive
Showcase the agency's capabilities while attracting both clients and potential collaborators
Compete visually with established agencies that had years of content built up

My Role

I came on as the lead visual designer for all social content. That meant owning the entire pipeline: studying competitor agencies, defining the visual direction, designing individual assets, and maintaining consistency as the content library grew.

Research and Direction

Before designing anything, I spent time studying what top design agencies were doing on social. The agencies that stood out shared a few traits: strong color discipline, typographic consistency, and content that felt editorial rather than promotional.
I used those observations to build a visual framework for Rokplace that balanced bold, attention-grabbing layouts with a clean, professional tone. The goal was to make every post feel like it belonged to the same brand without relying on rigid templates that would get stale.

Execution

The content mix included static posts, carousel breakdowns, and short-form video reels. For static posts, I focused on strong typographic hierarchy and intentional color blocking to stop the scroll. For reels, I worked on pacing and visual transitions that matched the agency's energetic but polished tone.
Every asset was designed in Figma for precision, with final production in Canva and Kittl for speed when the content calendar demanded fast turnarounds.

Results

The visual system gave Rokplace a cohesive online presence that finally matched the caliber of their client work. The content library grew steadily, and the consistency made it easy for the team to brief new posts without starting from scratch each time.
