Here's how I simplified the shopping journey using two self-service models in supermarkets, which assist the user from item selection to payment.
Objectives:
Transform the Square Register into a self-service system, giving users the freedom to complete their purchases autonomously.
Design a new product to assist users in the pre-purchase and in-store shopping journeys in supermarkets.
Simplify the journey and the product so that people of all ages can use the system.
Ensure the security that items are being scanned correctly.
