Paperbits

Eli P.

I worked on Paperbits, a note-sharing app that collects important ideas from around the world. It helps people share useful information easily—whether from books, podcasts, videos, or new insights—by turning them into short notes that can be read in minutes.
Over time, we realized that while knowledge is powerful, finding and understanding it takes time and energy—both of which are limited.
Today, information moves faster than ever, but people absorb educational content more slowly than previous generations. No one can keep up with news and data from around the world as if it were happening in their own backyard.
With so much information available, people tend to focus on quick, practical knowledge—choosing easy-to-digest insights over deep research unless absolutely necessary. When needed, they’ll dive deeper, but only when it’s worth the effort.
This behavior isn’t going away—it makes learning more efficient and keeps curiosity alive. Our role is to encourage people to discover, share, and spread ideas faster and more effectively.
That’s why we created Paperbits—bite-sized knowledge for busy minds.
I established the necessary typography scales, color palettes, and iconography in alignment with the brand guidelines.
I also curated a set of icons to use within the app, utilizing custom designs to ensure a consistent visual language that aligns with the brand's identity.
Our platform has a diverse user base with different levels of engagement. Some users simply consume content, while others actively create and share new ideas.
