Soaring Service: Birdwatch Takes Flight with a Fresh Identity

A tech-forward approach to residential maintenance gets the brand it deserves, complete with a friendly owl mascot.

When busy homeowners need comprehensive care for their properties, they turn to Birdwatch—a membership-based service providing 24/7 residential maintenance and concierge support. To match their public benefit corporation status and people-first philosophy, the brand needed an identity that could balance professional reliability with approachable warmth.
The strategy positioned BirdWatch capturing the brand's blend of nurturing service and proactive problem-solving. This identity informed every element of the visual system, from the modernized owl icon to the rounded Nunito typeface that softens technical expertise with friendly approachability.
The new identity features a simplified, outlined icon paired with custom-modified typography, creating a cohesive mark that's equally at home on service uniforms and digital interfaces. A thoughtful color palette spans from deep indigo to warm coral. Photography emphasizes authentic moments of connection—technicians at work, families at ease—avoiding staged or overly polished imagery.
Beyond aesthetics, the brand system reinforces BirdWatch's core mission: to transform the stress of homeownership into peace of mind. The result is a comprehensive identity that makes home care feel less like a burden and more like having a trusted partner watching over your nest.
