An Evening in Two Acts — Pilardi AI Product Film

A six-second editorial film for Pilardi, my own brand, built around the two sides of a chess and backgammon set.

THE CONCEPT “An Evening in Two Acts” turns the change of game into a simple visual story: a quiet rooftop setting, chess as the first act, and backgammon as the second. The short format keeps the product and atmosphere at the centre.

PRODUCTION I developed the concept and art direction, prepared and refined the product scenes, directed restrained AI-assisted movement and assembled the final sequence. The edit uses pacing, transitions and typography to make the two acts readable in a compact vertical film.

CRAFT DECISIONS Controlled movement and iterative review helped preserve the board’s shape, ornament and arrangement of game pieces. The focus was a finished product story with visual continuity across both scenes.

MY ROLE & CONTEXT Creative direction, prompting, AI-assisted production and final editing for Pilardi. This is real commercial work for my own brand. My regular workflow combines Higgsfield, CapCut and ChatGPT.
