GoDaddy to Kajabi Migration, Sales Page & Kit Automation

Doreen came in asking for a website redesign. Her existing setup was built on GoDaddy — hosting her website, course library, and sales pages all in one fragmented setup. On the surface it looked like a design problem. After our discovery call, it was clear the issue ran deeper than aesthetics.
GoDaddy is built for basic websites and domain management — not for course creators. Doreen was running five courses at $27 each, managing student access, hosting sales pages, and trying to build an email list, all on infrastructure that wasn't designed to support any of it properly. Every part of her business was fighting against her platform instead of working with it.
She had strong content, a defined niche (women in recovery), a genuine and credible story as a licensed counselor and woman in recovery herself — and a platform that was quietly limiting all of it.

The real issue wasn't the design — it was the stack

A full audit of Doreen's existing setup and goals surfaced four interconnected problems:
GoDaddy can't natively deliver online courses. Course hosting, student management, progress tracking, and access control all require third-party workarounds on GoDaddy — creating a fragile, high-maintenance setup that isn't built to scale with a growing course library.
Sales pages lacked conversion structure. The existing sales pages had no clear above-the-fold emotional hook, no strategic placement of social proof, no "is this for you / not for you" qualifier, and weak calls to action. The offer was genuinely good — the pages weren't selling it.
Email automation was minimal or missing. Doreen had a mailing list and two free lead magnets (a Mindfulness Bundle and a Mindset Bundle) but no structured sequences to welcome new subscribers, nurture them toward a purchase, or re-engage cold contacts. Leads were being collected and going nowhere.
Disconnected tools creating unnecessary admin work. Her website, courses, email, and checkout weren't properly integrated, meaning Doreen was doing manually what a connected platform would handle automatically — taking time away from creating content and serving her students.

Full migration, five sales page rebuilds, and a Kit-powered automation system

The project covered three interconnected workstreams:
GoDaddy to Kajabi migration. Migrated Doreen's full website and all five courses from GoDaddy to Kajabi. This included rebuilding the site structure and navigation, setting up the course library with proper student access and content delivery, recreating all five product offers with Kajabi's native checkout at $27 per course, and managing the domain transition with zero downtime. Kajabi's all-in-one architecture meant everything — website, courses, products, and checkout — now lived in a single, purpose-built platform designed for creators like Doreen.
Sales page redesign across all five courses. Rebuilt every sales page from scratch inside Kajabi using a proven conversion structure: a strong above-the-fold headline addressing the specific emotional pain point, clear articulation of course outcomes, a "what's inside" tools breakdown, an "is this for you / not for you" qualifier section to pre-sell skeptical visitors, instructor credibility with Doreen's real story, student testimonials, and a clear $27 CTA. Courses covered include: Learning How to Let Go and Move On, Communication and Relationships, How to Stress Less, Building Self-Esteem & Self-Confidence, and The Expert's Guide to Getting Motivated. Each page was written to match the emotional register of women in recovery — compassionate, honest, and free of performative quick-fix language.
Kit integration for full email automation. Integrated Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as the dedicated email automation engine. Setup included: a welcome sequence for new subscribers, post-purchase onboarding email flows per course to increase completion rates and student satisfaction, lead nurture sequences triggered by the free Mindfulness Bundle and Mindset Bundle opt-ins, and re-engagement automations for cold subscribers. Kajabi and Kit were connected so that course purchases and opt-ins in Kajabi automatically trigger the correct sequence in Kit — no manual tagging or missed leads.
