PawPal is an AI-powered mobile app that helps dog owners identify potential health concerns based on symptoms and behavioral changes. It offers instant AI insights, personalized pet profiles, and educational content—while always emphasizing that it’s not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

The client aimed to position PawPal as an accessible first line of support for pet owners, but needed:

A user experience that balances technology with empathy

An interface that simplifies complex AI logic into everyday actions

A seamless, mobile-first flow that supports image, voice, and manual input

A design system that could scale to include premium features, community, and wearables

As the lead designer, I handled the end-to-end product design process—from strategy to high-fidelity screens:

Mapped user flows around symptom checking, pet profiles, and educational tools

Designed a voice-enabled and photo-supported diagnostic tool to mimic natural conversations

Created an intuitive, dashboard-style homepage to centralize alerts, quick actions, and pet history

Crafted a freemium model structure with gated access to AI image diagnosis, telehealth, and partner offers

Defined the visual identity: soft blues for trust, orange accents for warmth, friendly icons, and rounded typography

Delivered a full mobile-first product experience that felt approachable, intelligent, and trustworthy. The work helped position PawPal as a next-gen pet care tool, ready to scale with future additions like AR features, regional disease mapping, and international vet partnerships.
