Overview
AI Short-Video Factory is a production pipeline that transforms rights-verified public-domain stories into narrated 9:16 videos and prepares cross-platform distribution.
The challenge
Short-form video production involves source-rights checks, story structure, scene visuals, voices, timed captions, sound design, rendering, quality control, and platform-specific publishing. Each stage needs clear checkpoints so failures can be recovered without repeating the entire workflow.
My role
I worked as the full-stack automation developer across Node.js and TypeScript orchestration, React and Remotion composition, provider APIs, artifact storage, quality-control gates, and publishing integrations.
The solution
I built a staged workflow from story validation and scene planning through AI visuals, character voices, word-timed captions, sound design, and deterministic Remotion rendering. Provider fallback, cost preflight, reusable artifacts, resumable runs, and per-platform duplicate guards improve reliability. Publishing workflows cover YouTube, X, Instagram, and Telegram/Telegraph. TikTok uses a creator-reviewed draft flow with explicit confirmation and AI-content disclosure before final publication.
Technology
Node.js, React, TypeScript, Remotion, OpenAI API, Google GenAI, Vercel Blob, and media and platform APIs.
Outcome
The result is a repeatable production system with explicit quality gates and recoverable stages. Assets can be reused, interrupted runs can resume without restarting the whole pipeline, and final packages are prepared for each distribution channel.
