Modernizing the Alabama Power's Shorelines App Experience
Alabama Power Company, one of Alabama’s largest electricity providers, partnered with us to modernize the UI/UX of their lake companion app (Smart Lakes, later renamed Shorelines). We redesigned key flows and screens to make lake conditions, weather updates, alerts, and shoreline-related information easier to understand and faster to access for lake homeowners and visitors. The result was a cleaner, more intuitive experience that improved clarity, navigation, and overall usability across the app.
