UI Design for Food Recipe App

User interface design for a recipe discovery app. Search for meals, filter by dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free).

This is a mobile recipe app designed for culinary discovery and dietary personalization. The home screen acts as a central hub, where the user is greeted with prominent dietary restriction filters—such as "Vegan," "Lacto-free," and "Gluten-free". This approach puts customization first, allowing users to tailor their search before they even begin browsing.

The content organization is visual and intuitive. Below the search, quick-access icons categorize recipes by meal type (Sandwiches, Dessert, Breakfast, etc.). The interface uses a card-based system to display dishes in curated sections, like "Most popular recipes" and "Best of sandwiches." Each card provides essential at-a-glance information, including prep time and difficulty level, optimizing the user's decision-making process.

The overall design is clean and utilizes a warm, soft color palette, which makes the browsing experience pleasant and focuses the user's attention on the vibrant food imagery. The persistent bottom navigation (with icons for Home, Collections, Shopping List, and Profile) ensures the app's main sections are always accessible, creating a fluid and efficient user experience.
