Portrait Illustrations | Vector Logo Design

This project began as a personal creative experiment during a period when I was teaching myself Adobe Illustrator and exploring digital illustration more seriously. I started by creating stylized character illustrations of my friends, family members, and myself, treating each portrait as an opportunity to translate personality into a simplified visual form.

The idea behind the project was to develop a style that could function beyond personal artwork and be adapted for content creators such as YouTubers and streamers. Profile images and channel branding often require visuals that are distinctive, expressive, and recognizable even at small sizes. Because of this, I focused on building characters with strong silhouettes, bold color palettes, and clear facial expressions that could stand out on platforms where avatars appear very small.

Each illustration was built through a process of sketching, stylizing, and vector refinement. Rather than aiming for realism, the goal was to capture recognizable traits while simplifying forms so the artwork remained clean and adaptable for digital use. Color choices were used intentionally to reinforce personality and make each character feel unique.

Beyond the illustrations themselves, this project became an important step in developing my design instincts. It allowed me to experiment with composition, color harmony, and visual storytelling, while also learning how illustrations can function as branding assets for digital creators.

The result was a collection of character illustrations that demonstrated how personality-driven visuals can be used to build recognizable identities for online platforms.
