I directed the complete redesign of renowned fashion designer Kavita D's website, prioritising simplicity and ease accessibility foremost in order to appeal to her loyal clientele and win in new clients. The goal was to simplify the user experience while reflecting the essence of Kavita D's bespoke and tailored collections, especially for women between the ages of 40 and 70.

Redesigning Kavita D's website to fit her brand's simplicity and minimalism and make it available to her predominantly older clientele was the primary obstacle. The previous website's excessively complicated content and disordered design made it challenging for users to navigate and created confusion.

User-Centric Design: Using an understanding of Kavita D's target audience, I developed a neutral, minimalistic aesthetic that highlights the most important details in order to appeal to her clientele's sensibilities.

Simplified Navigation: Simplified the website's structure and decreased the number of links in order to make it easier to access essential details, eliminate of excess clutter, and make browsing quicker.

Tailored Content: I deliberately chose content to effectively showcase Kavita D's collections, keeping in mind that clients typically visit the website to evaluate her designs before visiting the store. I placed particular emphasis on the bespoke nature of her creations.

Organized Shopping Experience: The Shop page has been organised to coincide with Kavita D's seasonal collections and lines. The result is improved discoverability and ease for customers to access while looking for specific styles.

We sought to develop a platform that effectively conveys Kavita D's unique style while meeting the needs of her audience by staying true to her brand concept and comprehending her clientele's preferences. This project is proof of the importance of user-centric design concepts and the positive impact that they can have on digital experiences.
