Project Overview
This project focuses on building a smart productivity app that helps users manage their day through AI-generated tasks, adaptive routines, and a clean daily timeline.
Instead of manually planning everything, users describe what they want to do — and the app structures, schedules, and optimizes their day automatically.
The goal was to design a lightweight, simple, and supportive tool that blends:
To-dos
Habits
Daily routines
AI guidance
…into one experience.
Key Features Designed
1. Floating “Add Task” Button
A minimal floating action button fixed at the bottom-right of the screen.
It opens a bottom-sheet where users can either:
Add a task manually
Or use “Create with AI” to generate tasks automatically from natural language.
I designed both interaction styles:
Normal task form
AI-powered creation flow
Smooth animations, ripple effects, and snap transitions
2. AI Task Creator
Users type anything (“Finish homepage redesign by tomorrow afternoon”), and the AI turns it into a structured task with:
Title
Date & time
Priority
Suggested tag
Optional description
I created:
The conversational flow
Dialog prompts
Microcopy
The task preview card
Confirmation states
3. Adaptive Daily Timeline
The home screen displays the user’s day broken into:
Morning
Afternoon
Evening
Tasks and habits automatically slot into available time, with the option to ask the AI to:
Plan the day
Reorganize tasks
Reschedule missed items
4. Routine System
Designed a flexible routine builder with:
Morning / Evening routines
Drag-and-drop habit ordering
Frequency controls
AI “improve my routine” suggestions
5. AI Coach (Chat Interface)
A dedicated space where users can talk to the assistant to:
Plan the day
Rebuild missed routines
Create habits
Ask for suggestions
This required designing:
Chat layout
Message bubbles
Action blocks
Timeline previews
6. Progress & Insights
A clean analytics section showing:
Habit streaks
Weekly completion rates
Personal insights (“You get more done before noon”)
All visuals were created with a calm, minimal, friendly style.
Design Approach
My focus was on:
A soft, wellness-inspired interface
Smooth micro-interactions
Non-invasive productivity
A tone that feels encouraging, not stressful
The design direction blends:
Linear × Notion × Headspace
With:
Soft gradients
Rounded cards
Glass blur
Clear typography
Simple iconography
