The team over at Contra were planning to launch a new product feature where a user can now get paid via the platform. And as always, we wanted to announce this new feature in an engaging and exciting way. This was also an introduction of our hero character Jenny - who will be used in this project and many videos to come.

Character design is an interesting design challenge we enjoy taking on. First we asked what was Jenny's vibe, who are her friends, what does she do, and how does she live her life using Contra? Jenny came in many forms at first, but we were able to work cloesly with the Contra team to narrow down Jenny and bring her to life.

Now that we had Jenny, it was time to tell her story about her comsic adventure. We interwoved Contra's payment UI features in this new environment and had so much fun letting Jenny play around in space.

We had a blast (no pun intended) creating this dream-like environment for Jenny. We wanted to showcase Contra's payment UI in a witty, new, and captivating manner.  The user experience on Contra is beautiful in itself, we were just able to place that experience into a bright and refreshing animated world and then end with her on her city stoop.
