One of our favorite clients, Contra, approached us with a new project that was catered to those who wanted to hire creatives on the platform. We knew we wanted to take this project to the next level and make it not your ordinary recruiting or hiring video. We paired stunning visuals with playful animation to tell Contra's hiring story.

Part of our job as designers and animators is to tell a client's story in a way that makes sense and keeps the viewer engaged and entertained. We love being able to translate a script from a client into beautiful visuals and movement. Before we do that, we of course need to start with black and white sketches and get the storyboards and animatic approved.

Once the storyboards and sketches are approved, one of our favorite parts of this whole process is next: designing and adding that special touch. This one was particularly fun because the look and style of the entire piece was so playful and imaginative.

Telling the Contra story in a smooth and effortless way is something we truly enjoy. As we take the viewer from one scene to the next, we always want the animation and transition to happen without even noticing. It can be a challenge sometimes, but it's a challenge we always accept and have fun with.
