Built with Framer

Reality Prototyping - Framer Development

Carlos Geronimo

Overview

RP is a global coaching program that helps designers elevate their careers and creative businesses. Their existing website had been built on another platform that had become slow, difficult to maintain, and limited in scalability. The client needed a full migration to Framer that would make the website faster, easier to update, and ready for future growth.
This project involved recreating the entire website within Framer while keeping the original design and structure intact. The goal was to ensure that the migration improved not only performance and usability but also how easily the RP team could manage content internally without technical barriers.

Objectives

The primary objective was to migrate RP’s full website to Framer while maintaining visual consistency and content accuracy. Every section, page, and component needed to look and behave exactly as before, while performing faster and being easier to edit.
Another key goal was to improve the site’s SEO structure and responsiveness, ensuring that users around the world could experience smooth navigation regardless of device. Since the client’s audience includes designers from multiple countries, the site also had to meet professional expectations in both design clarity and user experience.
Finally, it was essential to implement a CMS system inside Framer so the RP team could manage blog posts, testimonials, and course information dynamically, without depending on a developer each time they wanted to make updates. This was a critical step toward giving the client full control over their content and long-term autonomy.

My Role

As a freelance Framer developer, I was responsible for handling the entire migration process from start to finish. This included setting up the website architecture in Framer, rebuilding all pages with pixel-perfect accuracy, and ensuring that every design element was faithfully replicated from the original site.
Throughout the project, I maintained constant communication with the client to make sure all expectations were met. I also provided suggestions for small improvements — such as adjusting certain layouts for better readability and optimizing component structure for faster editing. Beyond simply moving content, my focus was on improving the foundation of the site so it would perform better, load faster, and be easier to expand in the future.

Process

The migration began with a thorough review of RP’s existing site to identify all the pages, assets, and functionalities that needed to be carried over. Once I had a clear map of the project, I recreated the entire structure in Framer, starting with reusable components that made the design modular and easier to maintain.
Each page was rebuilt from the ground up, ensuring pixel-level precision while optimizing images, typography, and spacing for responsiveness. The setup of Framer’s CMS was a major focus — it allowed the RP team to easily add and edit dynamic content, such as new blog posts, course sessions, or testimonials, without having to reach out for technical help.
Performance optimization came next. I refined the page hierarchy, improved metadata for SEO, and ensured fast load times by reducing asset weight. Once everything was complete, I conducted a final round of QA, testing every page across devices and browsers to guarantee a smooth and consistent experience.
This hands-on process allowed the client to see immediate results. The new site not only looked and functioned exactly like the old one but also performed better, loaded faster, and was far easier to manage internally.

Outcome / Results

The full migration was completed in around one week, meeting the original timeline and expectations. The new website was more organized, faster, and perfectly aligned with the existing brand style. The CMS setup gave RP’s team complete independence, allowing them to manage their content, update sections, and publish new materials whenever needed.
The client appreciated how seamless the transition felt — no downtime, no loss of content, and a visible improvement in both speed and flexibility. The result was a site that kept its original personality but gained the efficiency and scalability needed to keep growing.
