Minimalist Subscription Manager with Usage Tracking

I built this app to solve a simple but frustrating problem: most people don’t actually know how much their subscriptions cost them in real life. It’s easy to see the monthly fee for Netflix or your Gym, but do you really know the cost per use? That’s where this app comes in.
With a clean, minimalist design, the app helps you:
Track all your subscriptions in one place
Calculate the true average cost per use
Instead of just showing numbers, it gives you insights that help you decide: Is this subscription worth it, or should I cancel it?

Step 1: Core functionality

The main challenge was designing a minimalist system that could take simple user input (like price, billing cycle, and usage) and turn it into meaningful insights. The app updates the cost-per-use in real time, so users can instantly see how each subscription fits into their lifestyle.

Step 2: Privacy by design

Many existing apps require linking bank accounts or sending personal data to external servers. I wanted to avoid that completely. All data in this app stays securely on the device – no accounts, no integrations, no hidden tracking. This decision kept the app lightweight, transparent, and trustworthy.

Step 3: User experience and growth

I kept the UI intentionally minimalist to make adding and reviewing subscriptions fast and frictionless. Users appreciated that simplicity, and feedback has shown that the daily reminder feature helps them build a habit of tracking usage. This continuous loop between design, data, and decision-making is what makes the app genuinely useful.
