I created an app for people who love movies and series, but who want more than just a handful of repetitive quiz questions. When I looked at existing trivia apps, I noticed two big problems: the questions were limited, and they got boring quickly. I wanted to solve that by generating quizzes dynamically from a rich, proprietary movie database. The result? An (almost) infinite supply of questions that never repeat themselves.

I started by developing a system that could automatically generate trivia questions from structured movie data. That was the key innovation: instead of hand-writing questions, I built a pipeline that transforms database entries into engaging quiz formats. Once the logic was solid, I worked on designing a clean UI that would let users jump straight into the fun.

When it came to releasing the app, I wanted to make sure it was accessible to everyone. That’s why all content is unlockable for free, while in-app purchases simply let players accelerate their progress and support ongoing development. This balanced approach meant I could focus on user experience first, without locking fun behind paywalls and building a large user base fast for a functioning multiplayer mode.

Early users gave me fantastic feedback—some wanted more challenging questions, others wanted different categories. Thanks to the way I built the system, adding new quiz types is fast and flexible. This feedback loop has already influenced the app’s roadmap, and I’m excited to keep expanding it with even more features for film fans.
