After we launched the CLIPI site, the firm's archives found a home at UCLA, and the press event that followed went well. Carlyle wanted to build on that momentum with a personal presence of his own: one place for five decades of litigation, press, and commentary, separate from the institution he co-founded in 1972. Jolene Abbott at UV Consulting brought me in to build it.
What I built
A Framer site with the CMS doing the heavy lifting. Press clippings, writing, and his biography each live as structured content, so new coverage or a new post goes up as one entry, no layout work. I recorded a walkthrough so his team can publish on their own.
Highlights
Press reads like a front section. Each clipping carries its masthead, date, headline, and a pull quote, instead of sitting in a logo strip.
A blog built to grow, with a featured post, a category grid, and an article template with related posts.
An About page that runs from biography to the founding of CLIPI to a scrolling gallery of archival photos.
Bottom line
A career that lived in newspaper archives now has one credible, lasting address.

A Framer site and CMS for a pioneering public interest lawyer, built after the CLIPI launch, with press and writing that read like a broadsheet.
