The Google Cloud Next global events needed very technically-driven content to be displayed simply and hold engagement.

The simplicity in design was key to the Google Clouds Next event style. Speakers held the responsibility to get their knowledge across to the audience while the design served as secondary support to hold engagement. White space was used with the use of the bright Google Cloud colours. A series of glyphs were developed to use as a predominate and unique design character. The event consisted of two variations of design styles. Day 01 & 02 were classically Google while Day 03 had an element of fun and freedom applied to it with a dynamic colour palette. Google Cloud Next 2018

San Francisco’s Cloud event was produced over 4 cubes that rotated content on stage;

London’s Cloud event chose to have one dimensional screens;

Google Cloud Next 2019

In comparison to the previous years design, a more minimalistic design was created to encapsulate the event. The same concept of Days 01-02 and Day 03 was in place. The first 2 days, the designs were typically Googles style and primary colours. Day 03 allowed for fun and had a dynamic approach to layouts. See below for some sample slides and filmed presentations. The British Shorthair turned out to be quite a popular feature in the slides!
