Sportinerd is a modern sports-ecosystem platform delivering live scores, rich analytics, and up-to-the-minute news across football and other global sports.As lead frontend engineer, my mission was to create a high-performance, interactive interface that can present fast-changing sports data (live scores, match stats, news) in real time while keeping the user experience smooth and responsive across devices. 🎯 Goals

Provide real-time live scores and match updates as games progress.

Show rich sports analytics and data (player stats, match analytics, trends).

Deliver latest sports news and stories in an integrated feed.

Build a scalable, maintainable frontend architecture that works across devices (desktop & mobile).

Ensure fast load times and responsive UI, because sports users expect near-instant updates.

Maintain clean, intuitive UX/UI that blends data density with readability.

Implemented WebSocket or real-time data streaming (or polling fallbacks) to push live score updates and analytics to clients instantly.

Designed a component-based UI: modular components for live score panels, match detail pages, analytics charts, news feed, etc.

Responsive design and mobile-first layout to ensure usability on phones/tablets as well as desktops.

Optimized performance and rendering to handle frequent data changes with minimal lag or jank.

Collaboration with backend/data teams to define APIs and data schema for scores, stats, enabling frontend to consume data seamlessly and reliably.
