Pitaya | Multi-Vendor Commerce & Marketplace Platform

Pitaya is a multi-vendor commerce platform that connects buyers and sellers through a customer-facing mobile app and a seller management dashboard. The ecosystem supports product discovery, ordering, payments, inventory management, and marketplace operations.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, I contributed to the platform’s core architecture, mobile and web experiences, backend systems, and third-party integrations for users, products, orders, payments, and seller operations.

Pitaya needed to keep buyer, seller, backend, and external-commerce data in sync while delivering clear workflows for shopping, checkout, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The product also needed a scalable foundation for a growing multi-vendor marketplace.

I developed customer-facing mobile features with React Native and Expo, including onboarding, authentication, product discovery, category browsing, cart management, checkout, order tracking, and profile management. The focus was a responsive shopping experience that made finding and purchasing products feel simple on mobile.

I built and maintained the Next.js seller dashboard, giving merchants practical tools to manage products, update inventory, process orders, track sales, manage store information, and monitor marketplace activity.

I worked on backend services and APIs for user management, product catalogs, seller operations, order processing, customer accounts, payments, and third-party synchronization. These systems connected the mobile application, seller dashboard, and external services into one marketplace workflow.

I implemented Shopify synchronization workflows for product data, inventory updates, order exchange, and store-management automation. I also integrated Stripe for secure checkout, transaction handling, and payment-status tracking.

I worked with PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and Supabase to model and support marketplace data across users, sellers, products, orders, transactions, and related business relationships. Clerk authentication, role-based access control, and session management supported distinct customer, seller, and administrator experiences.

The work delivered a connected commerce ecosystem across mobile, seller web, backend, payments, and Shopify. It gave buyers a full shopping flow, gave sellers tools to run daily marketplace operations, and established scalable foundations for multi-vendor growth.
