SKM Manufacturers, based in Olyphant, PA, produces marking tools and other products, including paint markers such as Super Metal Marker, Wet Erase Marker, and Solid Paint Marker. Their client base includes B2B relationships with brands like Sharpie and Staples, B2C connections with teachers, artists, and designers, and DTC relationships with government customers and product clubs. We were tasked with updating their 1980s logo identity, originally created by the owner and inspired by the 3M logo, to create a modern and cohesive brand identity.
