Fröhlich provides professional eye care, products and services under one roof. What started out as a small family business has now grown to multiple stores throughout Bratislava.
Before the opening of their latest store, Rado Vesely and I worked with Fröhlich to define a new visual identity that better communicates their vision - find the right glasses for every customer. Making use of both digital and physical platforms, we created a new logo, brand guide, website, and various marketing materials.
The new identity's main goal was to appeal to the target group of the company's two main offerings: optical glasses and sunglasses. To establish Fröhlich as an expert on both fields the identity needed to encorporate, both medical and fashion related elements.
This duality can be discovered throughout the whole identity, such as typography, color combination, and image style. As a fifth element a blur layer was added to visually communicate an interpretation of blurred and sharp vision.
