Amphora is a luxury spa located in Aidipsos, Greece. Located on the island of Evia, surrounded by the mountains and overlooking the sea, Aidispsos is a one of a kind city, containing eighty natural thermal springs. For millenia, people have traveled to Aidipsos's springs to heal their mind and body in their revitalising waters.

The client came to me in need of a brand for their new luxury spa offering. They wanted an elevated brand identity that referenced the rich history of the springs — appealing to their primarily international guests.

I started with research into the city of Aidipsos and the thermal springs that reside there.

After extensive research, I began working on the visual identity. Up first was the logo: I wanted it to have an organic feeling, as if it was carved or painted a long time ago. I chose to feature the amphora on a staircase beneath a full moon to evoke the spiritual connection to nature people experience when visiting the natural springs.
