The Challenge

Mulligan's Golf Course approached us with a vision: to transform their brand into a modern, slightly elevated, yet family-friendly destination. They needed a comprehensive strategic brand identity that would resonate across merchandise, social media, and future expansions. The goal was to create a bright, bold visual identity with character—one that would set Mulligan's apart in the competitive golf industry.

The Approach

My branding process always begins with uncovering the foundation of the brand—the who, what, and most importantly, why. These crucial elements give a brand its stance and direction. For Mulligan's, I dove deep into their core values, target audience, and long-term aspirations.
I discovered that Mulligan's isn't just a golf course; it's a hub for wellness and community. They offer golf lessons for all ages, host wellness classes, and have plans for a bar and grill in the future. This multifaceted approach to golf and lifestyle became the cornerstone of our branding strategy.

The Execution

Drawing from our insights, I crafted a vibrant and dynamic visual identity that captures the essence of Mulligan's. The new brand exudes energy and approachability while maintaining a touch of sophistication.I developed:
A versatile logo system that works across various applications
A bold color palette that stands out in the often-traditional golf industry
Custom typography that balances modernity with readability
Iconography and patterns inspired by golf elements, subtly integrated into the design
Guidelines for merchandise design, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
A social media strategy that showcases the lively atmosphere and diverse offerings at Mulligan's
The result is a cohesive brand identity that positions Mulligan's as more than just a golf course—it's a destination for sports enthusiasts, families, and wellness seekers alike.
