Still — Responsive Conversation UI Demo

Still is a self-directed interface demonstration, not a commissioned client project. It explores a focused conversation screen with an editorial layout, warm and dusk themes, two scene openings, and responsive controls. All replies are prewritten locally; there is no live AI model, account, backend or external font dependency.
The desktop layout has a scene rail, a conversation area and a mood panel. On mobile, the mood panel collapses while scene selection and the message composer stay available. Suggestions and typed messages update the interface, Enter sends and Shift+Enter inserts a line break. Start over cancels a pending scripted reply. Empty messages are rejected and user text is rendered literally.
Built autonomously with OpenAI Codex from an Image Gen concept. Browser automation and image inspection checked the 1505 × 1045 desktop layout and 390 × 844 / 320 × 640 mobile layouts, themes, scenes, pending-send controls, keyboard behavior, reset, literal HTML input and the reduced-motion switch. No horizontal overflow was observed at the tested mobile sizes, and the browser console had no errors or warnings during these checks. System-level reduced-motion handling was checked in source but not tested by changing the operating-system setting. No human review is claimed.
The implementation uses plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no installation or build step. It is a frontend sample; integration into a client's codebase, model APIs, accounts or persistent messaging would require a separately agreed scope. The screenshots are actual browser renders. The prototype is not represented as a complete AI companion product.
