Kōhi Time Coffee is a Eugene-based coffee truck. Their mission is to serve exceptionally crafted coffee in a way that’s best for Eugene and the environment. Kōhi Time harnesses renewable alternative energy while using organic, ethically sourced ingredients, eco-friendly plastic-free disposables, and Pacific Northwest suppliers.

My friend Genelle, reached out in the early stages of creating her coffee truck brand. I started with a round of logo designs. In the first round, another designer and I created several choices. But none of them hit the mark. We went through another round with a few things bubbling up but nothing still hitting the mark. After a few discussions with Genelle, I determined she wanted something that represented her more. After some thought, I suggested that she collaborate with her brother Garret Izumi https://www.garretizumi.com a fantastic fine artist and illustrator. Garrett created a few characters that allowed us to make the unique and personal feeling that Genelle was looking for to represent her brand.

Garret's creations were used to help create the Kohi Time brand. I designed the logo, business card, t-shirt, and van wrap. I continue to work with Genelle to bring the brand to life and share her love of coffee and the environment.
