Ocean Vodka, a local distiller on the island of Maui contacted Wind on Water Communications to help them position themselves in a competitive market and build out their first website. We dove in and created a solid pitch. After a quick pitch process, we won the business.

Knowing that the alcohol category already has long-established brands with large marketing budgets, how can a small Vodka brand on the island of Maui stand out? Well to start, they designed a unique bottle with real shelf appeal. To match their product, we needed a tagline and position. After much research, we landed on “Discovery Awaits”. This line plays into their beautiful farm in the hills of Maui where you can visit and experience the vodka, the land, and the water that makes it special.
