Website: SilverCAT Boats Platform: Framer Role: UX Design, UI Design, Development, Responsive Optimization Industry: Marine & Luxury Boating

The Challenge

The existing digital experience needed to:
Present multiple boat categories in a clear and engaging way.
Communicate SilverCAT's key differentiators such as stability, speed, and advanced hull technology.
Create a premium visual experience aligned with luxury marine brands.
Improve navigation across models and product information.
Drive inquiries and private viewing bookings.
Deliver fast performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The challenge was balancing luxury storytelling with product-focused navigation while maintaining a smooth user journey.

Research & Discovery

Before beginning the design process, I analyzed:
Luxury yacht and boat manufacturer websites
Marine industry user behavior
Competitor product presentation patterns
Lead generation workflows
Mobile browsing patterns among high-value customers
Key findings showed that visitors primarily wanted:
Quick access to boat models
Clear differentiation between categories
High-quality visuals
Trust-building brand information
Easy inquiry and contact options

UX Strategy

To simplify the experience, the information architecture was organized around three primary user goals:

Explore Models

Users can browse the complete fleet and quickly identify the right vessel category.

Understand the Brand

Dedicated storytelling sections communicate SilverCAT's innovation, craftsmanship, and performance advantages.

Schedule a Viewing

Clear CTAs throughout the website guide users toward inquiry and booking actions.

Design Process

Visual Direction

The visual system was inspired by:
Modern yacht aesthetics
Clean luxury branding
Ocean-inspired spacing and movement
Premium typography

The interface focuses heavily on large visuals, generous whitespace, and refined typography to create a sophisticated experience.

Component System

A reusable design system was created including:
Navigation components
Model cards
Feature sections
CTA blocks
Inquiry forms
Responsive layouts
Interactive hover states
This ensured consistency across the entire website while allowing future scalability.
